INDIA’S MUMBAI – In the post-pandemic age, OTM Mumbai has established itself as the leading tourism trade event in India and Asia by setting new standards for size and quality.
The third-biggest market research firm in the world, Ipsos, which is present in 90 markets and employs more than 18,000 people, was hired by Fairfest Media Ltd., the largest and oldest travel trade show organiser in India and the proprietors of OTM Mumbai, to conduct the study. The goal of the research was to evaluate how satisfied exhibitors, buyers, and trade visitors were with OTM 2023, which was hosted at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

OTM outperformed SATTE by a wide margin in all the established parameters, including atmosphere, location, and cleanliness of the venue; visitor and exhibitor profiles; the relevancy of the programmes; and food service.
Only 22% of respondents who attended both OTM ’23 and SATTE ’23 said SATTE provided a greater return on their investment in terms of time or money, while the majority (52%) thought OTM did.
Those who visited both OTM ’23 and SATTE ’23 assessed OTM Mumbai well in contrast to other major travel trade exhibitions, such as ITB Berlin and WTM London, with 77% ranking it as Good or Better.
The next OTM Mumbai will take place in the Jio World Convention Centre from February 8 to 10, 2024.
