Meliá Hanoi reveals significant updates to its F&B, MICE, suites, and fitness facilities.

The Spanish property Group has given Meliá Hotels International’s first property in Vietnam a thorough restoration as the company continues to grow its presence there.

The best suites, meeting and event spaces, and fitness facilities were all renovated and revitalized as part of Meliá Hanoi’s recent thorough makeover. The makeover of all the restaurant decor and gourmet options on the property was one of the biggest modifications.

As the general manager of Meliá Hanoi, Santiago Cabre stated, “The introduction of our new dining ideas has positioned our hotel as a gastronomic hotspot in Hanoi. Given our Spanish heritage, excellent food and an equally outstanding setting in which to eat or drink are important. We’ve done just that with our fresh restaurant concepts and decor.

The vibrant lobby area’s Garbo Bar, with its new sleek gold and emerald green bar counter and menu of vintage cocktails, is inspired by Hollywood’s golden age of the 1950s. A delicious range of tapas and Meliá’s famous afternoon tea with Spanish influences keep the Spanish influence alive.

With Mediterranean cuisine available all day, Mosaico, the all-day restaurant at Meliá Hanoi, enriches the hotel’s European history and aspires to rank among the greatest international breakfast buffets in the city. Breakfast is a lavish affair, featuring everything from expertly created pastries baked in-house to Spanish Iberico ham, a healthy juice bar to more decadent dishes covering a number of countries. New live cooking stations present culinary skills in a contemporary, light-filled setting. The room is filled with beautiful tropical flora, including a hanging garden.

The former El Oriental Restaurant will reopen as Cham Restaurant in October, providing upscale Cantonese dim sum and Asian noodle dishes in a cool, contemporary setting. Madam Lê Minh Thái, the new chef de cuisine, has 27 years of experience in the art of making dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. Over the past three decades, she has honed her craft by working with numerous Chinese and Singaporean dim sum masters, and she will apply this depth of expertise to every meal at the new restaurant.

The Ministry of Men, a brand-new concept from the House of Babaard organization that blends the best of a swanky cocktail bar and barbershop, opened in the hotel in May. The gorgeous setting and expertly crafted drinks make this the ideal setting for building relationships and networking.

The Presidential Suite, which is 168 square meters in size, and the Grand Suite, which is an opulent 135 square meters in size, have both been redesigned with more modern, regal furnishings, a new color scheme of soft grays, taupe, creams, and gold, new cutting-edge entertainment systems, and floor to ceiling windows that maximize the impressive city views.

The Level Meeting Room contains brand-new furnishings, more ergonomic chairs, and artwork that are only available to The Level visitors. The bigger MICE spaces include new carpets, furnishings, and an updated interior design with a clean white color scheme, including the Grand Ballroom and its dedicated pre-function area as well as the Thang Long Ballroom. The Function Room has a brand-new décor with paneling that is inspired by nature and is perfect for small gatherings. With two ballrooms, 10 function rooms, and a total capacity for 1,200 guests, Meliá Hanoi provides some of the largest meeting spaces in the city.

New aerobic equipment has been added to the fitness facility, and the roomy outdoor pool has a new deck.

“Meliá Hotels International brings a wealth of leisure expertise to Meliá Hanoi to create the ideal bleisure hotel in the heart of this busy metropolis,” said Ignacio Martin, managing director of Meliá Hotels International for Asia Pacific. “Meliá Hanoi is positioned to be the perfect hotel for travelers looking to explore the capital’s culture and history, while also experiencing all the comforts of a 5-star international hotel,” says the hotel’s website. “This is because of the hotel’s unique location in the heart of the city and taking into consideration the growing interest in Hanoi as a tourist destination.”

The 306-room hotel is conveniently positioned in the heart of Hanoi, close to government offices, embassies, retail districts, and tourist sites. It is perfect for both business and pleasure guests.
