In South Korea, Wyndham Launches Wyndham Grand

With around 9,100 hotels spread across more than 95 countries, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the largest hotel franchising corporation in the world. The Wyndham Grand Ijin Busan has opened. With the opening of this 271-room hotel, the prestigious Wyndham Grand brand makes its debut in the stunning nation of South Korea.

According to data from the Korea Tourism Organization, international visitor numbers to the popular destination have surpassed one million for the first time since the pandemic began in July 2023, coinciding with Wyndham’s calculated expansion into South Korea.  Because of Busan’s well-known reputation as a breathtaking seaside city and its abundance of fresh seafood, Wyndham visitors have exceptional opportunities to have remarkable experiences in the nation.

“South Korea offers endless opportunity for international travelers to experience new cultures, visit historic landmarks, and create lasting memories,” said Ben Schumacher, Vice President of Operations South East Asia & Pacific Rim (SEAPR), Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. In addition to expanding our portfolio in the area, the opening of Wyndham Grand in Busan offers visitors incredible experiences in a bustling city with top-notch amenities to make their stay memorable.

Wyndham Grand provides visitors with an exclusive collection of elegant, approachable-design hotels that offer exceptional lodging, attentive service, and laid-back settings. With more than 70 Wyndham Grand hotels worldwide, Wyndham Grand Ijin Busan is the newest addition to Wyndham’s expanding portfolio of more than 1,700 hotels in the Asia Pacific region. Other recent openings include Wyndham Grand Barbados, Sam Lord’s Castle Resort & Spa, and Wyndham Grand Krakow Old Town.
